The Ladybird Book of the Meeting

6th December 2016 by Karan Chadda Leave a Comment

The Ladybird Book of the MeetingIt’s nice to pick up a book that aims squarely at the nonsense of the workplace with no pretensions of providing wry analysis or insight.

It’s no secret that business books can themselves a little too seriously at times. There’s no shortage of parables that stretch credulity and books that claim to answer grand themes with deceptively simple answers. So it’s nice to pick up a book that aims squarely at the nonsense of the workplace with no pretensions of providing wry analysis or insight.

Part of the Ladybird Books for Grown-Ups series, the Ladybird Book of the Meeting is a beautifully illustrated send up of the modern office. It’ll take you about 10 minutes to flick through it. You’ll be smiling throughout. Possibly chortling in places. There’s not much more to say than that.

This book is available at Amazon, Waterstones and Foyles.
